2011 was amazing

It just was. There is no way this amount of joy could be added to someone's life and not have it totally make your year.

2011 taught this know-it-all that...well...I don't know it all. In fact, most days I don't feel like I know anything anymore. I've learned that parenthood has made my life unpredictable. That's not something I am used to at all. This year showed me that when you think you're as happy as you can be, more happiness is right around the corner. Too bad that also goes for stress and exhaustion, but whatever. We're focusing on the positives here.

I have been humbled this year. I see things in a whole new light these days. I am happier, more grateful, and more peaceful than I have ever been in my life. If you're reading this, there is a good chance you had something to do with that. So thank you.

I am looking forward to all the wonderful things 2012 has in store...even the challenges I know lay ahead. Because I now know that every single moment is amazing. Every single one.
